I really enjoyed looking at your pics,my personal technique is the 'mud sling effect', drives my wife to distraction with taking / reveiwing hundreds of pics! I also voted for the Eilean Donan Castle, but could appreciate something in all of them, the tranquility of the photo appealed after a hectic Tuesday. Thanks Richard

It was hard for me to pick one to vote for, they all have their merits. Actually, they look great together as a six. The colours and compositions compliment each other well. The eye catcher is the castle for me, the blues are striking and the powerful composition. I'm guessing this will win your vote thingy. Perhaps though, this angle of the castle isn't the most original and i can't help to compare it to other amazing images of the castle. I love the greens of the waterfall but don't think the composition is quite right, with the water off image to the left. I think i'll plump for the Jurassic shipwreck. Although i dont think i voted for it a minute ago.. oh well. The colours seem natural and understated. There is just enough movement in the water to add interest and the mood created is great. Yeah, I go for that one.

I have fallen out of love with photography (temporarily), partly due to two of my cameras falling into water (without insurance), and partly my new found interest, and time spent, doing a PGCE in geography.

Keep up the fantastic work on your blog and your photography.

I'm a sucker for the Lofoten Isles - very jealous that you managed to get there. I must go back to Norway soon...

I love the different shades of blue in the Eilean Donan castle and the way the light on it makes it stand out.
