Jurassic coast in Google Earth

I’ve put together a really simple Google Earth file containing some placemarks for selected geographical features of the Jurassic coast, a geology map and links to Flickr photos. The file can be played as a tour if desired.

Update:

The file has been slightly improved with a couple more placemarks and photographs. I’m using it to introduce coastal landforms, the idea is that students identify the features labelled with placemarks using the picture clues.

There is a new network link for Flickr that pulls in geotagged images available here.

    Hi Noel
    Great stuff as usual…
    More fodder for SAGT.

Thanks Alan. I think one of the values of the file is the link to geotagged photos - which are of very high quality. Geotagged images are an important resource!

The link to download the KMZ file isn’t working.
Is the space in the filename the issue ?

Odd - I’ve just downloaded it three times using the link and the icon. I think the problem must be at your end?

I slightly improved the file last night, after using it with students.

It worked at home, but not at school - problem up my end as usual…
    Just got the latest version.
    Cheers Noel.
