Windows Live Local has just updated the air photo imagery for the UK. The results are extraordinary. Living in a rural area of the South West, my Googlized view of the world has been distinctly blurry. Live Local’s air photos are incredibly detailed and vividly coloured.

The scratchpad feature is great for creating and saving pushpin locations, and these can be linked to external URLs, and shared with others. This link is for a collection of pushpins illustrating a recent field trip to Exmoor.
